The Farmers & Crafts Markets of Las Cruces has existed for almost 50 years and features hundreds of vendors. All of the goods sold by our vendors are hand-made and local. Everything from the jewelers and metalwork to the paintings and fiber, art, has been produced in Doña Ana County. Not to mention, all fruits and veggies are homegrown as well. You have to try the Southwest Kettle Corn!

Las Cruces boasts numerous art galleries filled with local and regional artists. Enjoy beautiful art exhibits and expand your knowledge of the southwest and culture. 

The five local, homegrown breweries in Las Cruces are Icebox, High Desert, Spotted Dog, Picacho Peak, and the Pecan Brewery. Additionally, you’ll find taprooms for Bosque (from Albuquerque) and Little Toad Creek (from Silver City), and Truth or Consequences Brewery (from T or C) as well. 

If you’ve ever driven along Mesquite Street, eaten at Nopalitos, or played in Klein Park, you might not have realized you were exploring the original townsite of Las Cruces. Grab your walking shoes and a bottle of water and get to know this fascinating district up close and personal.

A night at Rad Retrocade is a unique experience. Step back in time as soon as you enter the doors to a world of neon murals, black lights, vintage and modern arcade games, music, and so much more. From classic games like Pac-Man and Space Invaders to modern games like Mario Kart and Guitar Hero, Rad has it all. The pinball collection alone is enough reason to visit. 

The Rio Grande Theatre, originally built in 1926, is a restored performing arts center in the heart of Downtown Las Cruces. It is the only operating 2-story adobe theater in the country and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. 

The theater features a wide selection of entertainment from local, regional and national recording artists and performing arts, to a classic film series and Saturday children’s matinee program.
